RedShelf Implementation Manager in Chicago, Illinois

Job Summary

In this exciting role, you'll be a game-changer, helping us accelerate growth by streamlining how we bring new and existing campus systems on board with RedShelf. Dive deep into the current process, identify bottlenecks, and become a champion for efficiency. Your ideas will directly translate to getting our solutions into customer hands faster.Collaboration is key! You'll work hand-in-hand with customers, product, and our customer success team to create a winning strategy for each campus. Together, you'll understand their specific needs, develop repeatable solutions that ensure smooth integration with RedShelf's innovative offerings, and define support plans that set them up for long-term success. As your expertise grows, you'll play a pivotal role in reducing the workload on our engineering team. By helping define and leverage pre-built tools and adapters, you'll be a key player in streamlining the onboarding process for campuses, making a real difference for both RedShelf and our valued customers.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Clearly understand customer needs, goals, and pain points to tailor solutions and ensure successful project outcomes

  • Collaborate with the customer success team to develop and deliver comprehensive onboarding programs for new customers

  • Lead technical implementation discussions and presentations with campus partners. Focus on educating them about RedShelf Manager solutions, demonstrating their value and how they can be feasibly implemented.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and task schedules, utilizing project management methodologies.

  • Manage project resources effectively, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and addressing any resource constraints.

  • Manage and maintain documentation for standardized integrations, ensuring clarity and ease of use for future implementations

  • Track and measure project performance metrics (e.g., timelines, budgets, customer satisfaction) and report on progress to stakeholders

    Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience implementing cloud-based software for clients. EdTech experience is extra credit.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical customers and internal teams

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong initiative and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience using project management tools like JIRA or Monday.

  • Technically adept and curious learner with experience working with products that utilize APIs, sFTP, and webhooks

  • Ability to travel occasionally for customer meetings and product installations (up to 25% of time)

  • Demonstrate a strong ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of campus setup procedures

  • Knowledge or passion for advances in higher educational software, course materials, and digital publishing is a plus

  • Comfort and experience in a fast-paced, growing environment
