As a Senior Data Analyst , you will be part of a healthcare product team; focused on developing and implementing methods to improve data generation, usage and reliability. You will be a key team member, focused on developing foundational data-pipelines for downstream analytics. You will split your time between two key functions within the Optum International Infrastructure team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Research, interpret, and analyse diverse and complex data

  • Implement analytic activities to support decision-making across multiple lines of business

  • Implement process improvement initiatives and automation for efficiency where appropriate

  • Be responsible for the delivery of results and the support of business strategies derived from data insights

  • Participate in all phases of a project life cycle including database design, process flow, benchmark and trend analysis, and modelling

  • Produce analytical outputs, executive summaries and descriptive analytics reports for Senior Leadership

  • Collaborate with different lines of business and business functions, to understand their analytic needs, act as consultant to propose business solutions, and communicate results of analytics

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Data Analysis and/or Data Engineering

  • Experience in Data Warehousing , Data Modelling and working on cloud.

  • Data manipulation and data transformation skills and proficiency in at least SQL or Python

  • Proficient in research, interpreting, and analyzing diverse and complex data, and assessing Data Quality

  • Experience in deploying large scale analytical solutions or working in a large multinational company Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Data in MS Azure Cloud

  • Experience in financial analysis, healthcare pricing, healthcare economics, or related discipline

  • Knowledge of Application and SW development/implementation methodologies like Agile

  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies, like PRINCE2
