Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions is currently looking for a Data Scientist 4 Data Scientist 4 AI ML Ops to join their team in CA, CO , MO, TX, VA, and WA This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services efforts to modernize our navigation data production domain.

A successful candidate will bring experience with machine learning operations to help implement solutions to automate and streamline manual processes. They will work closely with our software development teams to develop models and integrate solutions into production applications. This position requires a strong focus on data integrity to meet our robust quality standards.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers, product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements, steer development efforts and communicate results and deliverables

  • Contribute data science expertise in one or more cross-functional development teams supporting both pathfinding and production software development

  • Provide technical leadership in selection and application of machine learning and analytical techniques

  • Knowledge in data analysis algorithms (e.g. data mining, statistics, machine learning, natural language processing, text mining, visual analytics).

  • Conduct evaluation, validation and continuous performance monitoring of supported applications, models and analysis

  • Ability to select and apply algorithms to meet application requirements.

  • Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, and peers.

  • Develop production-level analytics tools for internal and external, customer-facing applications including data transformation pipelines, model training pipelines, model inference and monitoring

  • Champion a culture of excellence, learning, trust, and collaboration

  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in a data science or data engineering role

  • Experience with Python

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher

  • Experience with Databricks

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.) Not a requirement.

Relocation :

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility to the Colorado location only .

Summary pay range: $144,500.00-$195,500.00
